Tiredness is a signal, not a personality trait. The work is to find what the body is asking for.
"Energy is built, session over session — not switched back on in one appointment."
Persistent fatigue is one of the most common and least understood patterns we see. It can sit alongside post-viral recovery, sleep disturbance, hormonal change, ongoing stress, or simply too many years of running on empty.
The TCM view treats energy as the body's currency — produced through good digestion, sleep, and circulation. When fatigue is persistent, the work is to find which of those systems isn't being supported, and rebuild from there.
Fatigue work takes longer than pain work — energy is built gradually, session over session. Most patients work through the structured 12-treatment protocol, with the first changes often felt in sleep before showing up in daytime energy.
Always coordinate with your GP for any ongoing fatigue — there are medical causes to rule out, and acupuncture sits alongside that investigation, not in place of it.
People who feel tired in a way rest doesn't fix. People recovering from a recent illness. People navigating burnout, perimenopause, or a long stretch of broken sleep. Anyone who wants to understand their energy rather than just push through.
Acupuncture supports the body's own capacity to recover and rebuild. It does not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from your GP or specialist. Any persistent or unexplained fatigue must be investigated medically. Symptom areas are described in line with AHPRA guidance — the diagnosis of any specific condition is for your medical doctor to determine.
Long enough to take a full history, understand what's been going on, and start treatment in the same session. We'll talk through the protocol together — no open-ended commitments.
